This is a much shorter blog post than usual, but it has been a topic that is heavy on my mind lately.

Be present.

Do you ever take a moment throughout the day to be actively present?

I haven’t been taking any time to be present lately, and I can feel it taking a toll on my overall mood/outlook.

I feel like something that has been really emphasized this year is how precious of a gift life is. We should be thankful, love hard, and live every day with intent because tomorrow isn’t promised.

But, on the flip side, I feel like with everything going on in the world, it is so hard to be present and not have your mind racing. I’m always thinking about the future, worrying, wondering, anxiously waiting for the next thing to happen, etc.

I decided I need to take time to be present and actively implement this practice in my every day routine. I decided I need to take time to be grateful and appreciate everything going right in my life even though I get so caught up in everything going wrong. I’m challenging myself to take 30 min every morning and sit on my rooftop and take in every second.

So, I am challenging you to do this with me. Carve out time during the day to appreciate the present. It can only be 5 minutes, but take a moment to be in the moment. XO
