Happy October! Well…September was the quickest month of my life! Will time ever slow down?! I like to think October is the beginning of the holiday season. Anyone already have a spooky Halloween party to attend or know what they are going to be for Halloween?

I’m excited for this month ahead. I’m personally hoping it will bring new opportunities, change, and personal growth. Last month, I feel like I didn’t take care of myself as well as I could have mentally and physically. I was sick a lot and kind of feeling blah. So, I am excited for a fresh start and ready to defeat my stressors and struggles.

Take a minute to reflect on September and think of more ways to improve this month! I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how we only get this one life, and we never know what tomorrow will bring..so, we need to make the most of every single day we are blessed with. Do one thing that brings you happiness every day!!

I am going to set three words to live by this month. I think this month, I am going to tape these three words somewhere I can visually see them every day. These three words can be anything you want to achieve, work on, remember to do, etc.

My three words this month are:
Faith: An essential part of my life that makes me feel grounded. But can also be confusing. I am committing to explore my faith more this month and use it to give me strength through the uncertainty.
Persist: Persisting through life’s constant ups and downs and rejection. To keep going even when I want to quit and to remind myself you only fail when you stop trying.
Manifest: Stop complaining and excuses. I am going to focus on manifesting good health, happiness, my future, relationships, and career I want.

My goals for this month are:

  1. Honestly, weight loss. Just really being dedicated to what I put in my body. I want to have more energy and feel physically and mentally stronger.
  2. Read. My mom bought me a book called “Everything is Figureoutable.” I want to take time (even when I feel like I am too busy) to read a little bit of it every day and finish it by the end of the month.
  3. Hot yoga. Yoga has been something I have wanted to incorporate in my life to help with my anxiety. This month is the month!
    (P.s. The overarching BIG goal is to have a job by the end of October. I am going to work my butt off!)
